Event Displays and Trade Show Displays!

Trade Show Displays

The point of a trade show is to improve your business. Getting out there and selling your company and the products that you offer to a massive amount of people at one time. What makes you stand out from every other vender at the Trade Show, your trade show display?

When deciding on what type of display to use for your trade show it is important that you try to think outside of the box. If this is your first trade show understanding the competitiveness that happens at a trade show is vital. The entire point of going is to draw attention to the company you represent and the products are services that are being marketed. “Fitting in” is not going to help increase sales and awareness.

If you have been to trade shows before hopefully you took a look around, try to remember the displays that caught your eye. What type of display was over used? Trade show displays that were black, blue or silver are common. In fact those three colors are the most commonly purchased trade show display colors.

Those colors are used so much that if a person was not aware, they would think those are the only colors available. The truth is that the color of your display is only limited by your vision. You may be thinking that, “Why should I break away from the pack?” The mentality that “everyone else is doing it” and it seems to be working for them, it probably is. One would have to wonder though, after the trade show, how many of those companies are remembered.

You want to make an impact at the trade show. A goal that you should have for the trade show is to set yourself apart from any other presenter there. You want to attract the people at the trade show to your booth. That is the entire point of trade show displays, attraction. Once the attendee makes it to your booth it is then up to you to close the sale, but you have to get them to your booth first.

There are usual hundreds of venders at a trade show. Imagine for one moment that you are an attendee and you walk into the venue knowing that there are so many booths to see and only so much time. Where are you going to go first, as your eyes scan the venue… you are drawn to the booth with the original eye catching display. All that is required really to catch the eye of the attendee is color. In the sea of black, blue and silver there stands a purple or a yellow or a red.

Remember, standing out at a trade show is the key to increasing your business. This can be accomplished with color. Before you spend the money on a panel or pop up system, think about the possibilities available with a trade show display of color.
